The surf community came together for a very special event where sport, community, and purpose joined forces.

The young surfer and Happyair ambassador, Arran Strong, spearheaded this initiative along with Quiksilver to support the Lovexair Foundation and raise awareness of respiratory health.

The highlight was the raffle of a Quiksilver surfboard, which helped raise funds for Lovexair's programs focused on improving lung health, supporting patients and families, and promoting prevention and education globally.

During the meeting, attendees were also able to learn more about the Foundation's work, such as its Happyair program, through a video presentation showcasing its main initiatives, including the HappyAir community and other projects focused on patient support, digital health, and awareness.

For Arran, who has lived with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency since childhood, surfing is much more than a sport. It's his way of telling his story, inspiring others, and demonstrating that even with a respiratory illness, one can live an active and positive life.

Events like this demonstrate the community powerWhen surfers, brands, and individuals unite for a common cause, the impact multiplies. And that's exactly what we at Happyair are aiming for: for more people to breathe better and live longer and better lives.
