September 25 is World Lung Day and at the Lovexair Foundation, together with leaders of patient organizations and health professionals, we join our voices to promote the care of our respiratory health and air quality with the campaign #TakeABreather.

Women leaders, committed to respiratory health, have organized to unite and empower patients in Latin America with a common goal: to raise their voices for the right to breathe clean air, to take care of our planet and our health, for ourselves and for future generations.

“In December 2020, empowered women from Latin America came together with the same conviction and passion: to combine our efforts and experiences, and work together for the right to breathe better. Our first challenge was to unify our voices and we chose World Lung Day as a key date to send this message to the world, aware of the importance of the environment and its impact on our health.

Now more than ever, we must protect the lung health of every person who continues to live the intense experience of the pandemic, the impact of climate change and their future well-being and quality of life. At Lovexair, we are proud to be part of this initiative and to drive this change that we need at a global level to take action and responsibility from our roles: governments, companies, academics and scientists, health professionals or third sector representatives... united for a healthier world for all.”

For the right to breathe clean air and protect respiratory health

The aim of the #TakeABreath campaign is to raise awareness about the importance of deep breathing for our health and well-being, as well as to preserve air quality to improve respiratory health globally.

In the weeks leading up to World Lung Day, we are sharing content that explores the many benefits of conscious breathing and encourages people to adopt healthy breathing habits.

We count on you!
