Lovexair will screen the documentary "Breathe, Mom" and lead a panel of experts on air quality and health.
Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, will be the epicenter of the global debate on air quality and human health. 25 al 27 March 2025. In this high-level scenario, the Lovexair Foundation will play a key role, joining governments, experts and civil society to promote urgent solutions to air pollution.
This is the first time that Lovexair has been invited to actively participate in a forum of this magnitude, reaffirming its commitment to the fight for clean and healthy air for all.
A key meeting for global action
La 2nd Conference on Air Pollution and Health, organized by the World Health Organization (WHO), will bring together Ministries of Health, Environment, and Energy, development agencies, healthcare professionals, local authorities, and civil society organizations. The goal: to consolidate evidence-based multisectoral strategies to reduce air pollution and mitigate its devastating effects on public health.
What will we do in Cartagena de Indias?
In line with our goals of raising awareness about the impact of air pollution on our health and our fight to promote social and health solutions, the Lovexair Foundation will play a key role in promoting public debate.
The WHO has provided the Foundation with a special auditorium on March 25 for the screening of the documentary “breathe mom", an audiovisual piece that illustrates the impact of air pollution on the health of families and the urgent need to act.
The screening will be followed by a panel of experts, including the film's director, Meri Collazos, and representatives of international, scientific, and civil organizations involved in the fight against pollution, to open a public debate before more than 1200 people.
Through this event, Lovexair seeks to raise awareness and mobilize public opinion, generating a call to action that involves citizens, institutions and governments.

Global Campaign
The event led by Lovexair will be the ideal occasion to officially present the global campaign “Global Campaign"which the Foundation will be promoting until the end of this year, together with more than 30 institutions and civic organizations.
Its goal is to understand the impact of air pollution and other potential risk factors on people's lung health, whether or not they have a diagnosed respiratory condition. To achieve this, the campaign invites people from all over the world to use the online questionnaire "Check@ir” to self-assess the health of their lungs and, at the same time, contribute to the creation of the first Global Lung Health Map.
A call to global action
The 2nd Global Conference on Air Pollution and Health will be a turning point in the fight against this global crisis. Ministers, mayors and world leaders will meet to assess the current situation and define concrete strategies. Lovexair, together with health workers, patient groups and civil organisations, will support the WHO call for urgent and effective measures from governments.
This congress is an opportunity to transform knowledge into action and Lovexair will be there, making sure that the voice of civil society is heard. Because breathing clean air is not a privilege, it is a right. And it is time to defend it.
