HappyAir Smart Community at eHealth Summit Singapore.
HIMSS APAC and Health 2.0
We are continuing to work to offer our digital health resources in regions with a dynamic approach to the future of healthcare. The past April 24th, Víctor Gascón, Global Transformation Officer, pitched for Lovexair Foundation in Singapore during the live demo showcasing in the “Chronic Disease Management” session. The feedback was positive and doctors from across Asia were interested in learning more about how their patients could connect and manage their integrated care plan using our HappyAir platform and health coach guidance.
In the developed Asian nations the national health services operates in a hybrid public/private system where in many cases the chronic diseases can incur high expenses for families. Clinics and hospitals have to work hard to accomplish a “patient retention” model in a competitive environment, solutions like HappyAir can make a difference for both patients and healthcare providers.
In Asia’s fast-paced demographics, semi-automated data collection via devices, is one of society’s requirements, to better monitor their health. However, collecting data from wearables is still a challenge, as the standards vary and are in many cases still unreliable for data transfer or security and integrability with relevant clinical platforms.
Lovexair is working to identify partnering to help resolve these issues where middleware or data-collection services can help us to work with more devices or wearables which are approved by FDA or CEE, support easier data upload and are integrable with our web-based platform.
In the meantime, we are showing people how they can easily change their behaviour, using digital health resources and begin to follow their personal care plan, helped by our trained educators or coaches.
This is a transition period and one in which we are are all coming to terms with, is a very different way of managing our health and enables us to share relevant clinical data with our healthcare team. Doctors are also learning that they can choose IT solutions which are now user-friendly, not time-consuming and help them monitor their patients remotely with better information or data to support future care needs.
Working together and collecting quality data is essential, to help us work in R&D in social-health with a better understanding of people’s individual profiles .Where we can learn what helps them follow their care plan more effectively, yet still provides appropriate information for their doctors and therapists.
